We drive down to the quaint & remote Cajun Village of Bayou Gauche for a thrilling high-speed ride onboard 7 PASSENGER AIRBOATS, comfortably gliding over marshes, deep into secluded bayous for approximately 2 hours.

You may even get to hold a baby alligator, feed giant catfish, or meet a nutria face to face.

*In case of lightning, the AIRBOAT tour may be shortened, postponed, or replaced with the Cajun Bayou tour because it is a covered boat.

Guided tour of HOUMAS HOUSE PLANTATION, the Crown Jewel of Louisiana's River Road, a lavishly restored Greek Revival antebellum mansion. Free time to enjoy 12 lush acres of gardens, ponds and a majestic live oak alley.

A 3 course gourmet lunch is included at Burnside Café around the Hampton Court Fountain of Houmas House.

Menu includes Ceasar Saland and choice of:
*Louisiana Seafood Pasta: Fettuccine with Shrimp and Crawfish tossed in a Tomato Cream Sauce
*Red Beans and Rice served with Louisiana Smoked Sausage
*Crispy Fried Catfish Fingers served with tartar sauce & French Fries
*Vegetarian Pasta Primavera :Fresh Sautéed Vegetables & Fettuccine tossed in Tomato Cream Sauce

For Dessert choose from freshly baked Cheese Cake or German Chocolate Cake both served with a White Chocolate Sauce and Whipped Cream. A beverage of Coffee, Iced Tea, or Soft Drink is included.

On the drive back, pause along the River Road on the levee to view HERMITAGE, BOCAGE & the remains of TEZCUCO PLANTATIONS.

We can pick up in New Orleans at any hotel, Bed & Breakfast, private residence, or restaurant downtown, uptown (close to St. Charles Ave.), in (or close to) the French Quarter, and on the WEST BANK. We do not pick up by the airport, in New Orleans East, in Slidell, or on the North Shore. No hidden extras. Our rates include tax and fees.

Departure Time:
9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Return Details:
Tour concludes at the original departure point.

Recommended for all tours in New Orleans: There is no dress code, wear whatever you feel comfortable in.

We never cancel a tour once it is confirmed! We go rain or shine, unless there is a hurricane or flood! We have golf umbrellas on board for those who forget to bring their own. In case of lightning, the AIRBOAT tour may be shortened, postponed, or replaced with the Cajun Bayou tour because it is a covered boat. We charge for No-Shows!
