I found this tour truly fascinating. Being from the North, I had no idea the devastation still evident all around New Orleans. We've all heard about the catastrophic losses in the Ninth Ward, but I didn't realize how many other neighborhoods were virtually wiped out by Katrina. I had tears in my eyes for a good part of the tour. Overall, I can't recommend this tour enough. Our tour guide was excellent, and although the tour was very sad, I think more people should see the tremendous challenges facing New Orleans in it's effort to rebuild the city. Excellent tour.

Our tour guide for the Katrina aftermath, was Joe. What a outstanding fellow, he was very thorough and gave us more than we thought we would experience. It was one of the best tours we have ever been on, it was like touring the areas with a friend who had experienced the whole affair personally

It was an experience that I will never forget! It weighed heavy on my heart to see what happened to the residence in New Orleans. The tour was very informative on the progress that have been made and projects that are currently taking place. I was glad to see things come back to life, but was disappointed to see so many homes and businesses still vacant and closed. Thanks to the tour guide, he did an exceptional job!

The Katrina Tour was a thorough, clearly delivered and very well organized event. Our guide (Sylvester, I think his name was) was someone who grew up in New Orleans, so he had an intimate knowledge of the landscape, people, political structure and was passionate about the subject matter without overly personalizing it all. The information was delivered in an engaging, clear and thorough manner from a tour bus which was near capacity, but still roomy. Our operator was a completely confident driver and delivered a presentation I will not soon forget. Excellent. Highly recommended for anyone passing through the greater New Orleans area post Katrina.

We took the Katrina tour in New Orleans and it was excellent.

The City tour was a great experience visiting an interesting cemetery with 15 minutes to get a good look, as well as lots of interesting sites. We enjoyed the chance to see some of the damage from Katrina and experience the rebuilding effort. The Garden district was every bit as interesting as it is advertised to be and the tour takes you through the entire area for a good view. this tour is well worth the time and cost in my opinion.

The tour was wonderful. The only problem that we had was we received the email which verified that we requested the tour, but did not receive the actual voucher email. When I got to the ticket office they wouldn't accept this. I called the main office in San Francisco but they weren't open yet. So I paid for another tour because I really didn't want to miss it. In the meantime, the San Francisco office did fax my voucher over to the ticket office immediately and also called me to tell me they did this. Therefore I was able to go back to the ticket office to get my refund from the initial tour. I commend the people in your office who took care of this so quickly and efficiently. It was so nice to see that my needs were taken care of, and in such a quick and friendly nature. I would absolutely take your tours again, and I have ALREADY recommended your company to others. :) Thank you so much!

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour interesting beyond the visual aspects of the tour.

Sue H., United States, 05-2007

It was an amazing tour. Real eye- opener that the Katrina area is still suffering so long afterwards.

Elaine J., United States, 04-2007

Saw with my own eyes the damage caused by Katrina in New Orleans and the lack of government help.
